Calendar/Schedule for Business Project

During the course of the semester, Computer Exploratory 8 students create their own original businesses with all of the items listed below to establish their businesses. This is a cumulative project that requires multiple skills. At the end of the semester, students have complete printed as well as electronic portfolios of their Business Projects. Listed below are the assignments included in their business portfolios:

1. Design an original logo using one of the graphic programs (Paint Shop Pro)

2. Design a business card (Publisher)

3. Create a flyer/advertisement for your product/service (Publisher)

4. Create a questionnaire/survey to determine the need/want of your product/service - chart resul Monday, November 20, 2006 (Database)

6. Create a memo to be sent to all your employees using mail merge (Word Processing/Database)

7. Create an employee payroll (Spreadsheet)

8. Create a web page to make your product/service more marketable (HTML)

9. Create an original jingle (Microworlds and Finale Notepad)
