0 - 69 E

Students can expect:

* Homework Monday - Thursday

* Periodic quizzes and tests

* Projects

* Daily silent reading

Homework:

1. Homework must be recorded in daily LMS agenda (planner).

2. Homework will NOT be accepted late.

3. Homework will be recorded on Infoline daily by 5 p.m.

Make-up Work:

The student is responsibe for requesting and making up work within a reasonable period of time after returning to school from an absence. A rule of thumb would be that if a chilld is absent two days, he or she has two days to make up his or her work.

Attendance:

A written note from a parent is required when a student is absent from school, even if the school has been notified by phone.  The note should include:

*Child's name

* Homeroom teacher's name

*Reason for the absence

Unexcused absences could result in failure. Please refer to the student agenda for detailed attendance policies.

Discipline:

In the event that your child needs to be disciplined, we will make every effort to take care of the problem during class time. You will be contacted if a problem persists. Measures include:

*Warnings

*Detention

*Referrals to administration

Conferences:

Should you need a teacher conference the four core teachers are available each morning from 8:30 a.m to 8:40 a.m.  Conferences are scheduled through our guidance office .
