Course Description

This nine weeks course expands on the level II course in computer technology for middle school students. Topics include basic operational skills, word processing, desktop publishing, graphics, multimedia, telecommunications, databases, spreadsheets, and legal and ethical issues. The Logo programming language is explored in great depth. Acceptance into this course will be based on successful completion of Computer Exploratory level II, teacher recommendation, or proficiency on a technology related assessment.
