The Lancers Track teams concluded their 2007 season in a big way at the City Wide City Meet on May 19th. The Boys team finished 2nd out of 13 teams thanks in part to a fine performance by Sam E. and the boys 4x4 relay, winning their races! The Lady Lancers tied for 3rd place and were led by the sprinting efforts of Kayla B. (100) and Mashae P. (200) who each finished 2nd. The girls 4x1 relay was also 2nd. Other top finishes at the city meet are listed on our schedule/results page.

The Landstown Boys and Girls Track teams both concluded their 2007 regular season with 5-1 records. The Boys only lost to Larkspur and the Girls to Brandon MS. They both finished 2nd in the Southern Division. Here are some highlights from the regular season:

Derrick M.	– School record, top five time in the city at 200m (24.08)
Dominique K.	– 2nd all-time in school history, 400m (57.16)
Andre C.	– Tied school record, top five time in city at 800m (2:17) – Top five in city at the 1600m (5:08)
Sam E.	– Top six in city at 800m (2:18)
Wes R.	– Top ten in city at LJ (17-3)
Kayla B.	– Top three in the city at 100m (12.91)
Mashae P.	– 2nd all-time in school history,2nd time in city at 200m (25.85)
Nicole B.	– Top six in city for 1600m (5:59)
Liz A.	– Top ten in city for 1600m (6:01) – Top ten in city for 800m (2:44)
Courtnee J.	– Top fifteen time in city for 800m (2:48)
Boys 4x4 Relay	– School record, 2nd best time in the city (4:03)
Girls 4x1 Relay	- Third fastest time in city (53.28)

The team would like to thank all our fans and support staff for their help at home meets this season! We're already excited for the future! The Spring Sport Banquet will be held Wednesday, May 30th.

Come out and support the Lancers as they compete to retain their southern division titles another year.
