Online Databases
The following databases are available to you at home, as well as school. All l require a username and password issued by Landstown Middle School. See the librarian to obtain passwords.

SIRS Researcher (Middle / High school level) Magazine and newspaper articles, Funk and Wagnall's New Encyclopedia, a world almanac, maps, and literature, government, music and arts information.

SIRS Discoverer (Middle school level) Biographies, an almanac, encyclopedia, maps and magazine articles.

Proquest (includes ELibrary, Art and Music Glossary, History Study Center) Magazine articles, photographs, animations and more!!
Cobblestone Online Magazine Cobblestone Online - Magazine articles from the American History magazine as well as articles from other science and social studies magazines for middle schoolers.  Login is ltms.  Ask your librarian for the password.
Grolier - 3 encyclopedias (New Book of Knowledge, Grolier Multimedia and Encyclopedia Americana) Follow the steps to enter Grolier Online. Your password will be e-mailed to you, and your account will be activated the next business day.
Gale Student Resource Center - Magazine Articles and reference information from American history, science, biographical, multicultural and literature resources. Includes graphics and audio and video clips
World Book Online - The online version of the encyclopedia plus a dictionary, atlas, Spanish language encyclopedia and more!
